ANTIQUE NAMGYALMA / USHNISHA / USNISAVIJAYA TIBETAN BUDDHIST STATUE ONE OF THE 21 TARAS. Uavijay is a buddha of longevity in Buddhism. She wears an image of Vairocana in her headdress. With Amitayus and Sitatara, she constitutes the three Buddhas of long life. She is one of the more well-known Buddhist divinities in Nepal, Tibet, and Mongolia. This is a rare find! This is an antique statue of the Tibetan Buddhist deity, Ushnisha or Namgyalma. This statue measures 6-5/8″ tall and approximately 5″ wide. The base measures approximately 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ in size. This antique statue had a gold gilt on it at one point but has been polished so much over the years, that the gilt is gone except for a few small spots here and there. This statue weighs 2.4 lbs. She is in very good condition for her age and is very solid and sturdy. She is in very good, antique shape and has a lovely patina.
